Excited to get these features working. Found a way to embed video into posts, and opted to use the tagging system in hugo to make art posts easily accessible for now.

I’m still on the fence about creating a custom taxonomy for dynamic generation for portfolio pieces, or to just make them as posts with a similar link pointing to the tag.

Currently looking into different options for a comments system, including Isso. I’ve yet to determine if it’s the best course of action, but seems the most promising.

Still need to look into embed generation support, RSS generation, reader mode support, and whether or not to opt for a third party to supply e-mail notifications for whatever comments system I end up with.

E-Mail notifications would be the most reliable method, and may be the only readily available option. Push notifications to browsers is probably not the way to go. Cactus Comments could be an alternative, but having to self-host Matrix or relying on a third party doesn’t seem ideal.
